Tickets once purchased are valid only for the relevant tour and cannot be re-allocated to any other tour.
Ticket amount will not be refunded under any circumstances.
The Trust reserves the right to cancel the tour or re-schedule the tour without giving any prior notice.
Disputes, if any, are subject to Udupi jurisdiction.
RULES AND GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR VISITORS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Smoking, drinking, spitting, eating, urinating in the open is strictly prohibited within the Village.
Only 30 persons are allowed during one session, except for discounted tours, group tours and promotions when the number may be increased through advance intimation.
Proof of booking and proof of identity are mandatory.
Children below the age of 12 years of age are strictly prohibited at Hasta Shilpa Village due to the nature of our structures
and the content therein. Please make sure youngsters who accompany you have an age identity proof to support this.
Exception is made to the above rule only when children under 12 years of age come on a school tour which needs to be booked in advance.The group must be accompanied by appropriate number of teachers. They are welcome only for The Heritage Walk.
Due to security and other reasons, please do not carry cameras,hand-bags or luggage, except small purses which will be allowed. We have made provisions at the reception for safe deposit of these items.
Please switch off your mobile phone or keep on silent during the duration of the tour.
No photography/filmography is allowed INSIDE any of the structures. You may be requested to leave the tour if it is suspected that you have broken this rule.
ONLY still photography of the exterior parts of the structures is permissible within reasonable limits, and without even the minimum possibility of damage to the fragile structures.
Filming by camera, smartphone or any other medium is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
Please respect the time and interest of others in the group and make sure that they are not inconvenienced.
Please follow the tour guide/s at all times and do not separate yourself from the group.
You are expected to present yourself at the reception 10 minutes before the tour starts. If you do not present yourself at the appointed time, we reserve the right to cancel your booking without any refund and allocate your space to someone else .
We require visitors to remove their footwear before entering each of the heritage buildings in order to protect the flooring from dirt and unnecessary wear and tear. Please wear appropriate footwear (like slip-ons) for ease of removal and to avoid inconvenience to other visitors.
Each and every artefact, painting, structural material, etc, has been painstakingly preserved.
Please do not touch any of these.
Overstaying in the village after the tour, for any reason, is not allowed.
The Trust reserves the right to immediately evict anyone not following these rules and guidelines, without any refund.
Internet handling fee per ticket may be levied. Please check your total amount before payment.
